In some regions of the United States, winter is upon us already! That means in these regions, our construction season should be drawing to a close.
Working on projects during the winter season has its’ own set of unique parameters from dealing with shorter daylight hours to the winter weather conditions – each challenge the ability to keep everyone safe, obtain a quality job and even complete the job, let alone in a timely and cost-effective manner.
The key to success in winter projects is proper planning – planning that should be (or have been) done well in advance of the winter conditions arriving on your site. If you’ve waited until the first snowflake flies across your project to address winter weather construction, it could be a very costly mistake!
